Country Director, Jordan
Lara has over 16 years’ extensive experience in program design, implementation and management; partnership development and management; as well as fundraising. In her previous roles, Lara was responsible for managing partnerships in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Her various roles have seen her working in partnership with DFID, UNFPA, USAID, UNICEF and various governmental ministries.
Lara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Damascus University, Syria and a Training Certificate in Integrated Approaches for Sustainable Development from Columbia Global Centers/Middle East – Institute for Sustainable Development Practice/ISDP- University of Columbia. She is currently completing a degree in Master of Science from University of Sussex on Sustainable Development.
