The annual Right To Play Gala will take place on Tuesday, October 27th at Gotham Hall in New York City, bringing together more than 200 leaders from the business, sports, and philanthropic sectors. As Right To Play’s flagship event, the Gala honors outstanding heroes whose leadership and generosity have made a lasting impact on children and communities worldwide.
About our Honoree
This year we are honoring The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and their ongoing support for Right To Play's mission and programs.
Since 2016, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, through its humanitarian arm, has been a steadfast partner to Right To Play. With total contributions exceeding $9 million, the Church has supported education, early childhood development, and WASH initiatives in refugee and host communities through 22 projects in 8 countries across Africa and the Middle East.
Since 2024, Right To Play has also proudly been one of the global nonprofit partners featured in Light the World Giving Machines in 17 cities across the U.S. and Canada. Supporters have helped provide play-based learning materials, educational resources, and essential services that empower children around the world to learn, grow, and thrive. The partnership has also helped introduce new communities to Right To Play’s mission and the transformative power of play.
