Meet our 2025 New York City Marathon Runners
Right To Play USA is proud to be an official charity partner of New York Road Runners for the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon! Through this partnership, we are able to create a team of runners passionate about our mission and ready to run to fundraise on our behalf!
This year's race is extra special because it falls during our 25th Anniversary. Help us reach our goal and continue to provide programs that change children's lives by donating today.

Jeremy is originally from Ellicott City, Maryland, and has lived in NYC for the past four years. He played soccer from the age of five through high school but never enjoyed the running aspect of training. Over the last few years, he has come to really appreciate distance running — the calm it brings and the personal challenge it offers are hard to find elsewhere. Last year, Jeremy ran two half marathons, and he is very excited to run the NYC Marathon this year.

Raised in the heart of Kansas, Luke Haverty is an experienced designer and the founder of A Supper Series. After six years in private equity, Luke left the traditional path to explore a deeper sense of purpose. His work now sits at the intersection of introspection and creativity — designing experiences that help people pause, reconnect with themselves, and engage in meaningful dialogue. Whether through intimate dinners, immersive events, or long-form conversations, Luke is guided by curiosity, presence, and a commitment to living with intention.

Sam is an avid runner who's blended his love for travel and his job of finding the coolest things to do in New York City with his biggest passion...running! On top of running 5x a week, Sam often finds myself going to different parts of the city he wouldn't normally explore like Dumbo, Upper West Side, Bushwick, Queens and more. Everyday is a different run...especially when he travels. He believes there is no better way to see a city!

Originally from Colombia, Santiago immigrated with his family to Prince Edward Island, where he spent much of his childhood. He went on to study Commerce at Queen’s University and recently moved to New York City to begin his career in investment banking. The NYC Marathon will be his third, and he is incredibly excited to be "running in support of such an inspiring organization like Right To Play."

Harrison Dircks will be running his first marathon, and he is thrilled that it will be in New York City. Of all the places to do it, this one is incredibly special for him. For one, both of his parents completed the NYC Marathon in the 90s, so having the opportunity to follow their lead after growing up surrounded by their medals and action shots is incredibly satisfying. He is also excited because, since moving to the city last fall, he has had so much fun getting to know the vibrant community of runners in NYC. Hitting the road with them in November is a privilege that is not lost on him, and he is incredibly grateful to Right To Play for giving him the opportunity to contribute to the cause by running such an iconic race.
