Basharat has a lengthy body of experience in international development in Asia and Africa, including 10 years in senior management roles in finance, accounting, grants and project management, capacity building and strategic planning. In his last job at Aga Khan Foundation, he managed a combined annual budget of $115 million USD and provided strategic and operational guidance to staff at all levels.
