Mali Friedman is Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at Washington Football Team. Prior to this role, she was Assistant General Counsel for the Golden State Warriors. Mali also worked for the National Hockey League in New York City, focusing primarily on legal and business affairs relating to media, digital, technology, and international strategy. Prior to moving in-house, she was an associate at Covington & Burling LLP in San Francisco from 2006-2014. Mali graduated from Stanford Law School in 2006 and from Princeton University in 2002, with a concentration in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. She is an avid tennis player, skier, runner, and sports enthusiast. Mali has participated on the U.S. Champions Committee for Right to Play since 2015, both from New York City and from the Bay Area, where she now lives.
