Mali Friedman is the Chief Legal Officer, SVP Business Affairs at the Washington Commanders. A member of Washington's executive leadership team, Mali oversees the Team's Legal and Business Affairs function and provides organization-wide legal and strategic support. Previously, Mali held roles with the XFL, Golden State Warriors, and the National Hockey League and started her career as an attorney at Covington & Burling. Mali graduated from Stanford Law School in 2006 and from Princeton University in 2002, with a concentration in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. She is an avid tennis player, skier, runner, and sports enthusiast, and she and her husband have one son.
